Ironton Distillery Denver Wedding | Collin + Patricia

It is hard to believe that Trisha and Collin’s intimate Colorado mountain ceremony and Denver reception were almost a year ago! We caught up with the newlyweds to take a look back at their perfect winter wedding day, which they described as comfy and cute and we couldn’t agree more.

Like every true millennial, Trish and Collin met on Tinder and have been going strong ever sense. Collin asked Trisha to marry him right before they opened the door to their newly purchased home! When it came time to plan their Colorado wedding, they knew they wanted their day to reflect their relationship and wanted time to enjoy each other as well as their guests. They found the perfect Denver wedding venues to accomplish all of these goals.

Trisha and Collin chose to have an intimate ceremony at the Boettcher Mansion Gazebo with less than ten close family and friends. With a close friend performing the ceremony, it perfectly reflected the couple and created the comfortable, relaxed ceremony the couple was looking for. The ceremony location provided the perfect backdrop for amazing family and couple photos! How stunning are the florals and bouquet by Plum Sage Flowers?!?!

The couple chose one of their favorite Denver spots, Ironton Distillery, to host their winter wedding reception. The tented garden area and perfectly decorated distillery was a great way to show their out of town guests a little piece of Colorado. Collin and Trisha knew Ironton Distillery would wow their guests with their iconic drinks and delicious food.

The bride’s stunning dress from Anthropology, BHLDN bridal shop reminded us of the sun glistening off of fresh snow. It was oh so perfect paired with with her warm faux fur wrap and sparkling booties. We cannot get enough of these silver glitter bridal booties perfect for a winter wedding! The groom looked handsome and warm in his suit from Ratio Clothing.

When asked what advice they would give couples planning their small wedding, Collin and Trisha gave advice we want to scream from the rooftops . . .”focus on what you and your partner want in a wedding and try to ignore outside pressures”.” They did just that and had a wedding that reflected their intimate wedding vision. They also recommended selecting vendors that have worked with your venue before as they seemed to have a great relationship and enjoyed working together. They credit this for their day running so smoothly and seeming effortless.
